In 2011, Parr's Ridge participated in the Digital Wish "Recycle Forward" Campaign as a fund raiser for new technology for our school. We earned $289.98 for the purchase of new tech items for our teachers and students. Waste Free Lunches were held twice in the last 4 years to encourage students to bring reusable containers and cloth napkins. Students recycled their fruit and vegetable scraps in our compost bin.. The goal was to have no trash at all!
